Jewellery rendering services in India

A CAD, rendering and animation studio in Surat, serving jewellery businesses internationally since 2021. This page is about what working with us across a time zone and a border actually looks like — the services themselves are on their own pages.

Working with a jewellery rendering studio in India

Maulshree is based in Surat, Gujarat, and has been producing CAD design, rendering and animation for jewellery businesses since 2021 - serving jewellery businesses internationally. If you are weighing up an overseas studio, the service itself is rarely what you are unsure about. What you want to know is how the working relationship holds up across a time zone, a border and a currency.

That is what this page covers: when we are awake relative to you, how files and feedback move, what protects your designs before anything is shared, how you pay, and what happens when a render comes back wrong. The services themselves are described on their own pages, and linked where they come up.

The time difference works in your favour more often than against it

India Standard Time is UTC+5:30. Against London that is a 4.5 to 5.5 hour difference depending on the season, and against New York it is 9.5 to 10.5 hours. In practice that means a brief you send at the end of your working day is picked up at the start of ours, and the first response is usually waiting when you next open your laptop.

The overlap is real rather than theoretical: late morning in India is early morning in the UK, and our evening reaches the start of the US East Coast working day. Anything that genuinely needs a live conversation can be scheduled inside that window.

  • Send a brief at the end of your day, find progress at the start of the next
  • A working overlap with the UK in your morning and the US East Coast in our evening
  • Written briefs and annotated screenshots do most of the work, so nothing waits on a call

Your designs are protected before anything is shared

This is the question most overseas buyers ask first, and it is a fair one. We sign an NDA on request before any files are shared, and work covered by an NDA is never shown in our portfolio or in our marketing. Files are delivered unbranded, so studios and agencies can present the work under their own name.

Nothing about a design leaves the project it belongs to. If an NDA is part of how you work, send it with the brief.

  • NDA signed on request, before files are exchanged
  • NDA work never appears in our portfolio or marketing
  • Unbranded, white-label delivery for studios and agencies

How a project actually runs

Send a sketch, a reference photo or an existing CAD file and you get a quote against it. There is no minimum order - single designs and bulk projects are both accepted, and bulk work is quoted per project rather than from a fixed price list.

Standard CAD, rendering and animation first drafts are delivered in 2 days, without compromising quality. For a larger run the homepage FAQ gives the working figure: rendering 100 files generally takes a maximum of 5 days for standard renders, with complexity moving that number. CAD design includes up to 3 revisions.

  • A quote comes back against your actual files, not a generic rate card
  • No minimum order; a single design is a normal job
  • Up to 3 revisions included on CAD design
  • Larger runs are delivered in batches so listings can go live as work progresses

Files, formats and handover

Files arrive in the formats your manufacturer or your storefront actually needs, rather than in whatever the studio happens to work in. If you are unsure which CAD format to ask for, the STL versus 3DM guide explains what each one is for.

  • STL, OBJ, PNG and MP4, depending on the service
  • The per-design rendering package is 12 photorealistic images covering 3 metal colours across 4 angles, 3 product videos and a 360-degree rotation video
  • Manufacturer-ready CAD where CAD is part of the project

Pricing and paying an Indian supplier

Published rates are per design and start from $10 for CAD design, $20 for 3D rendering and $50 per animation video; price varies with complexity, and the pricing page carries the current figures. Quoting in US dollars is the norm rather than the exception, so there is no currency conversion to work out at your end.

Payments are accepted via PayPal, Payoneer, Wire Transfer and Bank transfer - the routes overseas clients already use, so no new account is needed to work with us.

Working with an Indian studio - questions we are asked

    Where is the studio based?

3rd Floor, 29 Arihant Complex, Near Jamna Ba Bhavan, Valak Patiya, Surat, Gujarat 395013, India. The studio has been running since 2021.

What is the time difference, and does it slow projects down?

India Standard Time is UTC+5:30 - about 4.5 to 5.5 hours ahead of London and 9.5 to 10.5 hours ahead of New York. Most clients find it helps: a brief sent at the end of your day is worked on overnight and progress is usually waiting when you return.

Will you sign an NDA before I send my designs?

Yes. We sign an NDA on request before any files are shared, and work covered by an NDA is never shown in our portfolio or marketing.

Can the work be delivered unbranded so I can present it as my own?

Yes. Files are delivered unbranded, so studios and agencies can present the work under their own name.

How do I pay from outside India?

We accept PayPal, Payoneer, Wire Transfer and Bank transfer. Rates are published in US dollars.

Is there a minimum order for an overseas client?

No. Single designs and bulk projects are both accepted. Bulk work is quoted per project - send the range and you get a quote against it.

What if a render comes back wrong?

Tell us what is off and it is corrected. CAD design includes up to 3 revisions, and on a larger run the first batch is approved before the rest of the range is produced against it, so a misunderstanding is caught on a handful of pieces rather than a hundred.
