Lifestyle jewellery renders: the piece in a setting, not on a white square
A lifestyle render shows a piece of jewellery in a scene — on a linen surface beside a ring box, on a marble ledge in window light, against a festive backdrop, or worn on a model — rather than isolated on white. The jewellery is the same 3D model that produces your product images; the scene, props, lighting and camera are built around it. Because nothing is photographed, the same design can be shown in a wedding setting, a festive setting and an editorial setting without three shoots.
Product images sell the specification. Lifestyle images sell the occasion. Most brands need both on the same product page, and rendering both from one file is what keeps them consistent.

How a lifestyle scene is built
We start from your CAD file, a sketch or a clear photo of the piece and confirm metal colour, stone and size. Then we pick the scene with you — surface, props, backdrop, time of day — and light it to suit the metal: warm, low light for yellow gold, cooler and brighter for white gold and diamonds. The camera is set at product-page distance first, so the image also works cropped to square or 4:5. Marketplace rules still apply: Amazon requires the main image on pure white, and Etsy recommends a clean first image with lifestyle images after it, so lifestyle renders go in the supporting slots and the white-background set stays first.
How the work runs and what it costs
Standard CAD, rendering and animation first drafts are delivered in 2 days, without compromising quality. You mark changes to the scene, angle or metal and we re-render from the same setup. Our 3D Rendering package starts at $20 per design; lifestyle scenes are quoted with the package once we know the number of designs and settings. These are indicative starting rates — final pricing depends on design complexity, order volume and turnaround.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a lifestyle render and a product render?
A product render isolates the piece on a white or plain background to show the design exactly. A lifestyle render places the same model in a scene or on a model to show scale, occasion and mood. Both come from the same 3D file.
Can you show the same piece in different settings?
Yes. Once the piece is modelled, wedding, festive and editorial scenes are different scene setups around the same file, not new renders of the jewellery.
Do lifestyle renders work as marketplace images?
In the additional-image slots, yes. Amazon requires the main image to be the product alone on pure white; Etsy recommends a clean first image with lifestyle images after it. Our Etsy and Amazon guides quote the exact rules.
Can I get matching stills and short video from one scene?
Yes. The same scene can be exported as stills and as a short motion clip for Reels or a product page; see our animation and 360° video services.
Will the metal and stone match my product images?
Yes. The same model and materials are used, so a ring on white and the same ring on a linen surface show identical metal colour and stone cut.
How quickly do I get the first draft?
Standard CAD, rendering and animation first drafts are delivered in 2 days, without compromising quality. Collection-wide campaigns are scheduled when we confirm the order.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We sign an NDA on request before any files are shared, and work covered by an NDA is never shown in our portfolio or marketing.
Do you offer white-label services?
Yes. Renders and files can be delivered unbranded, so studios and agencies can present them to their own clients under their own name.
